What is Metal Clay?

Metal clay is soft and easy to shape — then it’s fired into real metal. Silver Clay becomes 99.9% silver, and Gold Bronze Clay becomes solid bronze with a warm golden tone.

Shape your piece by hand with zero experience needed. Then we professionally fire and polish it for you.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes. We explain everything step by step — no prior experience needed.

  • Book your preferred material (Silver Clay or Gold Bronze Clay). Both materials run in the same session, so you can come together with friends even if you like different metal jewelry.

  • Most guests make 2–4 pieces in Silver Clay or 2–6 pieces in Gold Bronze Clay, depending on size and how detailed you go. We’ll help you plan what to make so you get the best results.

  • Yes. Gold Bronze Clay becomes solid bronze with a warm, golden color (not gold-plated). Silver Clay is solid silver after firing ( 99.9% fine silver).

  • Not the same day. You’ll create your piece in the session, and we’ll fire + polish it after. It’s usually ready for pickup or shipping in ~7 days.

  • Silver can slowly darken over time (normal for real silver), and it’s easy to refresh with a polishing cloth.
Gold bronze is sealed to help it stay bright with normal wear. Over time the finish can soften — a quick polish helps bring back the shine. If you prefer your bronze to stay brighter longer, take it off for showers and avoid perfume/cream on the ring.

  • Absolutely. Reach out to us via hello@cultosolar.com and we will take care of everything.

  • Cancel at least 48h in advance and you’ll receive full credit toward a future session. After that, email us — we’ll do our best to help.

  • The workshop takes place at Seebahnstrasse 155, 8003, Zurich
